Who is Saltydog?

Saltydog is the current name for the band based out of Duluth, Minnesota, led by brothers Jacob and Owen Mahon, as well as bassist Calvin "Calzone" Lund. Other names for the band have been Jacob Mahon and the Salty Dogs and New Salty Dog.

What is Good Old Salty Dog?

GOSD is a fansite that is entirely unaffiliated with the Mahon brothers or any other band member. How did you discover Saltydog?

My friend, who I met in Duluth, Minnesota, returned to Duluth on a summer vacation in 2021 or 2022, and heard New Salty Dog playing at The Ripple Bar (a sadly closed Grateful Dead-themed bar in Canal Park.) He liked them so much he told me about them, and I was hooked.
